Here’s a simple explanation of how to recharge your hellomobile SIM, using
Cell C airtime vouchers - which you can buy at any airtime vendor nationwide.

HOW TO LOAD DATA & AIRTIME

Option 1


  • Enter *102* followed by your 13-digit pin number and the # sign

Option 2


  • Dial 141 from your HelloMobile phone
  • Choose option 1
  • Enter your 13-digit pin number from the voucher
  • Wait for confirmation and end the call

Option 3


  • Buy airtime from any ATM with your bank card or on internet banking. Select the recharge option, choose the amount and the number you would like to recharge and CellC will automatically add that value to your airtime balance.

Emergency Airtime


Talk now, pay later… We keep you connected. Whenever, wherever.
Dial *147#, select option 7, and follow the on screen instructions to access emergency airtime. (Pay later at a cost of R1 per transaction)


Available only to:


Customers who have been active for 6 months prior to request;
and customers who have recharged with R30 per month on average for 6 months.

Airtime Share


As a hellomobile customer, you can conveniently send airtime to another hellomobile customer or to any Cell C Prepaid or Cell C Top Up customer straight from your cellphone. It’s the ideal way to stay in touch with friends and family, so get sharing! Did we mention that it’s completely free?


Simply dial *147# and select option 3 to opt-in for the airtime share service. There are no fees associated with the transfers, for both sending and receiving airtime. Your airtime transfer values will be deducted from your available airtime balance.


You can share airtime from one of the following predefined amounts of R5, R10, R20 or R30 in a single transaction. The minimum transfer value is R5, with a maximum transfer value of R1 000 per day and a maximum transfer limit of R10000 per month.
